Set up two years ago by husband and wife team, Philip Start (founder of Woodhouse) and his rock star wife Brix Smith-Start (guitarist from The Fall), its aim is to bring high-end designer fashion at affordable price to the East End. Men can choose from casual jackets by a vibrant mix of labels including 'Engineered Garments', 'Comme Des Garcons' and 'Polo Ralph Lauren' while the women have a well-edited selection of desirable contemporary brands like hard to get US designers 3.1 Philip Lim and Rick Owens and the eternally-wearable Vanessa Bruno. An abundant supply of all the best jeans brands for both sexes can also be found. Clearly presented, the site makes shopping on the net a cinch. It also means those with a phobia of Shoreditch can enjoy the shops brilliant line-up from the comfort of their own neighbourhood.
