| PRPS Jeans The Label: A collaboration between Akademiks, a New York-based clothing company and former top Nike designer, Donwan Harrell, Prps was launched in 2005. The name Prps is shorthand for 'Purpose', which seems entirely apt considering the amount of time and effort devoted to the purpose of delivering premium and unique products. It also stands for 'Purple Products' - the brand colour, as seen on their selvedge seams, fly buttons, and all of their packaging. The jeans are manufactured in Japan on looms that were used to produce the original denim for Levi's. The Look: The menswear jeans draw from classic shapes as seen with the indigo five pocket straight cut. Denim is of premium quality and it's the attention to detail that really makes PRPS stand out - features include camo pocket lining, a hand printed internal pocket logo and five different coloured fly buttons. |
