The Designer: Irish designer, Pauric Sweeney began his career by opening up a studio and gallery space in east London called ROOT, where his avant-garde jewellery and fashion designs caught the eye of leading stylists who began to feature his pieces in magazines such as Visionaire, I-D and Purple. Sweeney presented his debut collection at The Louvre during Paris Fashion Week in 2000. His unique vision was hailed as the ‘New London Look’ and his fashion career launched to critical acclaim. In 2005, Sweeney moved his atelier to Florence, Italy to work closely with Italian craftsmen and it was there that he launched Pauric Sweeney bags. Celebrity clients include Lindsay Lohan and Madonna. The Inspiration: Elements from architectural form bring depth to his collection. The Look: Elegant yet quirky bags in innovative for day and evening in contrasting colours using the finest leathers and exotic skins. |
