From his elegant floaty frocks to his beautifully crafted streamlined skirts, Philip Lim’s vision is a breath of fresh air. Hailing from Orange County, California, the American designer launched his label in 2004 to correlate with his 31st birthday, hence the name for his signature collection 3.1. Now a globally recognised brand, Lim takes inspiration by “absorbing shapes colours and textures” from his surroundings.In his own words he “makes beautiful crafted clothes with added touches of madness, stirring towards the imperfection.”
