Miu Miu

The Designer: Voted by “The Wall Street Journal” as one of the 30 most powerful women in Europe and armed with a PhD in Political Science, Miu Miu is named and modelled upon a woman to be reckoned with: Miuccia Prada. The designer took over her grandfather’s luggage company in 1978 and by the mid 1980s, made Prada the cult label of the decade. The cutting edge bridge label, Miu Miu, was conceived in 1993.

The Look: Mixing feminine with masculine, pretty without being twee, Miu Miu is for women who understand that fashion isn’t the be all and end all. As she says "I love fashion, but I think it should stay in its place, not rule your life. It's a very nice part of your life, but I think it should be fun."
