The Designer:Somewhat of a Renaissance man, Charles Anastase, the 28-year-old French designer and illustrator extraordinaire, is known for his wicked sense of humour. He launched his eponymous label in 2003 with Olivier Bord.
The Inspiration: According to the designer: "My inspiration comes from fairy tales, psychoanalysis and art. It is a quest for beauty." The Look: His collections always have a touch of the whimsical. Designed for: A.P.C. and Calvin Klein (fashion illustrations), and a CD cover for Beck is in the works. |
